A large turn out at Parkrun this week.

Sue, Liz, Katy and Amanda ran together at Montacute. Even though she was aiming to take it easy leading up to her and Sue's slightly longer race next weekend, Liz still achieved a pretty good percentage, topping the ladies. Colin and Dave German both ran their 125th Parkruns. Colin coming 2nd in our percentage table; and Dave accompanied by his daughter Sally. I achieved an envious 29.89%, tail walking with our dog Bella. We were joined by two other tail walkers. Owner Chris walked with his dog 'Beans' who was completing her 100th Parkrun; it was Chris' 107th. I enjoyed a sociable walk around the course with the added bonus of no wheezing up the hills this week.

Over at Street, Brian was also tail walker, saving his energy for the Martock 10K. Steve was our stand out PB, knocking 105 seconds off his previous best. He must have been keen to ring the new PB bell. Dave Westerman ran for the 4th time at Street.

Martin ran at Southwick Parkrun, Trowbridge for the first time and, over at Burham, they were celebrating their 3rd anniversary with a record turnout of 400 runners.

Another international result, with Neal still down under. Neal had completed his Parkrun on Saturday before most of us in the UK had woken up. He was at Applecross Parkrun at Jeff Joseph Reserve in Western Australia. A field of 98 runners, Neal came in a lucky 13th and topped our percentage table.
