We had some mix weather this weekend to greet our parkrunners. Kylie and Hazel both paid their first visit to Burnham on Sea, hoping know doubt for some sunshine, but instead had to battle though a down pour. It did not affect Kyle’s performance as he raced home in 2nd place for the 2nd week in succession*although he was a second slower than John Howard’s time recorded earlier in the year. The rain held off at Montacute for the runners with Wendy producing the goods with a PB performance. Sarah rocked up for her first run at Montacute and found the course a little more challenging (don’t we all). Liz on the other hand knows Montacute like the back of her hand, having run here 93 times before, she of course ran a table topping performance. Maggie was out sole runner at Burnham and missed her PB by only 5 seconds! The sprint training with Pete is beginning to pay off.
*Kylie 2nd place was at Street last weekend.
