UPCOMING RACES

The list below comprises a variety of distances and terrains. So whether you are just starting out and are looking for a sensible 10k race to run, or are a seasoned distance runner experienced in these kind of events, hopefully there is something here for everyone.

24th March - Yeovil Half Marathon

17th May - The Town Tree Trail

15th June - The Giants Head Marathon - Very popular with Langport Runners. Trail half and marathon based near the Cerne Abbas giant in Dorset. Tough, hill courses amid beautiful scenery.

16th June - Martock 10k

29th June 2024 - Ham to Lyme - Another race popular with Langport Runners. This is an epic trail even with a choice between 50k and 100k One-way from Ham Hill to Lyme Regis for the 50k runners. 

7th August - Haselbury 10k Trail - Welcome to trail running! A scenic route involving stiles, a ford and a sharp climb. Based around the North Perrott and organised by Crewkerne Running Club.

1st September - Bridgewater Half Marathon - Relatively flat road running with PBs on offer. 

3rd November  - Herepath Half Marathon - Definitely NOT flat! A challenging, well-established local trail race near Taunton with hills, mud and a friendly atmosphere. Great scenery and views.
