Longrun Meadow saw five of our merry band of brothers and sisters run around a rather muddy course. Kyle, James and myself were getting the legs warm for the Yeovil half Marathon so eased off the gas a little. James and I were looking to pace ourselves around in 26 minutes but went a bit quick. We both recorded the same time although being ever so slightly older (You would never guess it) achieved a higher percentage score. James went on to record a massive ½ Marathon PB and I was only 30 seconds off and Karen recorded yet another PB, whilst Maggie and Mark were in North Yorkshire for a parkrun near Pickering. Dennis topped our table with his performance at Burnham on Sea on his 69th parkrun.
Unfortunately, Montacute will be cancelled again this Saturday. Hopefully we will all be back there soon.
