Another super Saturday morning with five of our centurion parkrunners out running this weekend and another one Volunteering (Nick P) at Montacute. I had planned to do a bit of tourism this week (Seaton) but turned the alarm off and ended up at Montacute for my 36th run there. I will never get bored of the course. I was still pretty tired and started off a little slower than usual. In fact I left it late to catch Sue W which I managed to do just at the top of the hill. I was chasing her down for some time as she was gradually slowing. I then saw Liz M just ahead so had to put a sprint on to catch her not far from the line and beat her by all of 2 seconds. However, they were shallow victories of course as Liz topped the table with 75% and Sue 66% came second. Marie F was at Montacute as newbie for only her second parkrun and had a super sub 25 minute time! Amanda B completed her 101st run at Montacute. Roxane was the 38 minute pacer this week and did a fine job bringing her group home in a sub 38 minute time. Well done ladies!!!
Longrun Meadow was our other venue of choice where it was nice to see Cathy back running. Paul and P and Dave G put in their usual consistent performances.
